The Team

Paula and I have been a husband-and-wife team since 1981, defying all the arguments that “married couples can’t work together” ! Both artists in our own right, we each bring a style and presence to the studio that is evident in all we do. Attention to detail . . . that’s really what we’re all about. We don’t scrimp on anything when it comes to making a portrait you’ll be proud of. There’s also a continual education process that we all take advantage of to keep up with new techniques, equipment and products to better serve our clients. I think you’ll find us very easy to get along with every step of the way. There’s nothing hurried about a portrait session here, nor is there any pressure to “buy”. We DO have a guarantee, though, that you’ll love your portraits and we’ll do whatever it takes to get you there !

The Studio

Big news for everyone . . . we have downsized, and I know that’s a very overworked verb these days, but as of June 1, 2022, the studio is now located in the Coleman Building at 531 North Center Ave., Suite 202 in Somerset! We are finding more and more portrait clients wanting outdoor locations as well as their own surroundings as a background instead of the traditional studio setting. And our 250 West Union Street studio just became too much real estate for our needs. So it’s all good! More info to come, so please stay tuned.

Studio and location portraiture

Besides our new studio location, we can photograph you almost anywhere your heart desires. The only limitation is your imagination ! We’d love to discuss your plans and help you select the perfect spot plus we can assist you with clothing choices and the best time of day for your session. We also understand cost is a key ingredient in your portrait, so we can quote prices for everything from the session fee to wall portraits. Studio session fees start at $ 75 with portrait packages as low as $ 400.
